NFF will award all Super Eagles players $5,000 (N2.8 million) each for every wins at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
This was after the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) and the Super Eagles reached an agreement on how to pay for the tournament wins and draws.
Before the tournament began, a meeting between the players and NFF officials was held in Garoua. The Eagles will receive $5,000 (N2.8 million) for a win and $2,500 (N1.4 million) for a draw after the tournament.
Three African champions who are yet to receive their two-match bonuses before the start of the tournament will receive a bonus against Egypt on Tuesday and a pending bonus, team officials said in Garoua’s PUNCH Sports Extra.

Nigeria led Group D with 6 points and qualified for 16 rounds in the remaining one match. Egypt is second, Guinea-Bissau and Sudan are third and fourth respectively.
