After thirteen years of marriage, a Nigerian couple has given birth to twins.
The couple, who are both journalists, were overjoyed at the birth of their children.
Mr. Chris Obileri of Radio Nigeria’s Purity FM in Awka and his wife, Mrs. Ngozi Obireli of Anambra Broadcasting Service, married on December 28, 2007, and had been hoping for a child.
Mrs. Obileri conceived after 13 years and gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, as a result of their prayers.
On Sunday, September 19, the children were consecrated during a ceremony at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Awka.
The journalists said they were filled with joy of being parents and recalled that they held on to God when people thought there was no possibility of conceiving.
